- Leroy Zick and his mother, Mrs. Walter E. Zick, are the managers of the two Walter E. Zick Dry Goods stores in Wilmette in Hubbard Woods. The stores were started in the early 1920's by Walter Zick and his brother, G. I. Zick. Walter Zick died in 1946. Mrs. Zick manages the store at 1075 Gage Street in Hubbard Woods. Leroy Zick with his daughter and wife, Sally, reside at 1662 Harding Road, Northfield
