Notes: National Library Week and School Library Week continues through Saturday with book readings and talks and other school activities.

Several students are acting as "Principal for a Day" through tomorrow, as part of a silent auction bid at last year's Joseph Sears School Benefit.

This year's eighth-grade play is "Oklahoma!"

•The District 38 School Board's next regular board meeting is scheduled for 7:15 p.m. Monday in the school.

•A board meeting of the school's Parent Volunteer Association is scheduled from 8:30-10 a.m. Tuesday in the school.

•The Joseph Sears School Foundation is scheduled from 7-8:30 p.m. Wednesday in the school.
