- The Emerald City Theatre group visited McKenzie on April 18 to perform the play "How I Became A Pirate" for kindergartners and first-graders. First-graders also recently visited the Kohl Children's Museum in Glenview for a program on recycling.
• Cafeteria servers are needed from 11:10 a.m. to 1 p.m. Mondays and Thursdays in May. Contact Jenny Sheehan
• Heritage day is scheduled from 9-11 a.m. May 2.
• PTA committee positions are still available for next year. More information is available from Julie Johnson.
