- James P. Schneider, 41, a Wilmette fireman, apparently drowned Saturday in Denver, Colorado. Mr. Schneider, 3135 Old Glenview Rd., a 17-year veteran of the department, worked out of Fire Station One at Green Bay Rd. and Lake Ave. He is survived by his wife, Rose and three children, Russel, Deborah and Cheryl. Other survivors include his mother, Anna, a Florida resident; sisters Mrs. Lucille Holm of Glenview and Mrs. Janet Kloepfer of Northbrook. Also surviving Mr. Schneider are brothers Roger of Denver and Ronald of Barrington.
