- Outdoor classroom volunteers are needed from 10:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays during May.
• Some families may be eligible to receive money from the state to defray some of the cost of transporting their students to and/or from school, either by private automobile or bus.
• Teacher appreciation week is taking place this week.
• The Highcrest Middle/Wilmette Junior High School spring chorus concert is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. Wednesday at the junior high, 620 Locust Road, Wilmette.
• Sixth-graders' dental forms are due May 15.
• May 16 is bike-to-school day. • The PTO incoming/outgoing board meeting and luncheon is scheduled from noon to 2 p.m. May 16.
• The scheduled dismissal time has been changed for the last day of the school year. - Date of Publication
