- New Trier's sailing team earned a second place finish at the MISSA 2008 Mallory Double Handed Championship hosted by the Chicago Yacht Club last weekend and qualified for the ISSA National Championships for the fifth year in a row Mentioned were team members Stephanie Hudson, Gardner Yost, Kelly Foreman, Drew Shea, Mac Parks,Colleen Cozzens. Loyola Academy members who participated include Davis Porter, John Kinzel and Juliann Sargis, Alex Post, Tommy Holmberg, Clara McHugh. Loyola Academy placed third.
