- Winnetka native and New Trier East High alumna, Marianne Herrman, is on the list of authors nominated for the annual Frank O'Connor International Short Story Award for $35,000. Her book of short stories, "Signaling for Rescue" is her first. She lives in St. Louis Park, Minnesota, with her husband and two daughters.
Playwrite and Winnetka native, Todd Logan, will appear for post show discussion June 5 of the production of "Botanic Garden" presented at the Piccolo Theatre in Evanston
