- Ely chapter of the international honorary professonal land economics fraternity, Lamba Alsph, will initiate eleven prominent men into membership Feb. 8 in Evanston. Announcement made by Franklin B. Bowes, 1140 Greenwood avenue, Wilmette. The men are: Harry Grant Atkinson, Warner G. Baird of Evanston; Frederick M. Bowes, 1140 Greenwood avenue, Wilmette; Martin A. Culhane, Frank D. Chase, Henry T. Holsman, John Holsman, Glenn C. McBride, Kenneth C. Rice, John W. Schaeffle and Michael J. Schneider. The chapter's president, Burt Rubloff will officiate. Speakers include William Ten Halsen, dean of school of commerce at Marquette University; Mark Levy, president of the Illinois chapter of the American Institute of Real Estate Appraisers, and Robert B. Whitaker, head of R. B. Whitaker and Co, North shore realtors and builders.
