- Eileen K. Stoecker, the wife of Wilmette Police Chief Fred W. Stoecker, died Wednesday (Dec. 9) morning at Evanston Hospital. Mrs. Stoecker, 54, was born in [page damaged], Ohio, and came to Wilmette in December 1965 when her husband was appointed chief. Mrs. Stoecker is also survived by two sons, Fred Jr. of Waukegan and Theodore of Wilmette; two daughters, Susan and Carol of Wilmette; three sisters, Rita Jonke, Ruther Hepper and Rosemarie Skurky, all of Cleveland; and two brothers, Thomas O'Neil of Cleveland and Raymond O'Neil of Rochester, N.Y.
