- Harry Ernst Kinzie, Jr., 89, late of Evanston Illinois, and previously of Winnetka, IL, passed away at home on Saturday, August 16, 2008. Survivors includehis wife of 64 years, Mary Louise Huey of Cheraw, SC, children Mary Kinzie and Hank Kinzie (m. Sheryl Lynn Larson) of Evanston, IL, Richard Huey Kinzie (m. Susie Slaughter Kinzie) of Gays Mills, WI, and Mable Barbie Kinzie (m. Richard Berdel), of Charlottesville, VA. His nine grandchildren are Phoebe Kinzie-Larson, Taya Anne Kinzie, Kyle Rebecca Kinzie, Hannah Larson Kinzie, Ella Larson Kinzie, Solomon Tiyo Kinzie, Nataniel Huey Kinzie, Merrillan Dwan Kinzie, Katherine Risa Kinzie; and three great-grandchildren, Niccolo Kinzie Combopiano, Lorenzo Kinzie Combopiano, and Solomon Jude Singer. Harry was the son of Harry Ernst and Ordie Galbreath Kinzie, and was born and attended public school in Tulsa, OK.
