Art League Holds Board Meeting

A board meeting of the Wilmette Public School Art League was held last Tuesday morning at the home of Mrs. S. S. Dingee, 932 Lake avenue, president of the league. It was reported that two landscapes had been presented to the league by the art and literature department of the Woman's Club diring the chairmanship of Mrs. George Van Dyke. One of these will be placed in the Central Avenue School. In addition to these, the League has been very fortunate in receiving several of John T. McCutcheon's and William Schmetgen's original cartoons which will be framed and placed in the schools. A number of interesting meetings are being planned by the entertainment committee of which Mrs. William Schmedtgen is chairman.
