- New Trier captured third place in the Illinois High School Field Hockey Association torunement with a 6-1 defeat of Glenbard West on Saturday. Comments by coach Stephanie Nykaza. Players mentioned include Addie McDonnell, Katie Theiss, Allison Hackett, Katie McMahon, Alexis Crnkovich, Brittany Benson.
Five New Trier players were selected by coaches tothe Illinois High School Field Hockey Association all-state team. Earning recognition were Lindsay Alston, Katie Fapka, Kendall Cooper, Brittany Benson, Allison Hackett. ALso named to the team were Grace Bowen, Clare Nelson and Katherine Ireland of Loyoa Academy and Sammy Gray and Julia Price of North Shore Country Day.
