The May meeting of the Crescent circle was held Wednesday at the home of Mrs. A. J. Coburn.

Mrs. A. B. Wilson, 510 Central Avenue, will entertain the Washington Avenue Circle Monday.

The Tuesday Bridge Club will meet next week at the home of Mrs. L. [Lewis] B. Springer, 430 Hill street.

Mrs. W. [William] A. Mann entertained the Drama Study class Wednesday afternoon of this week. The class is reading scenes of the popular plays of this spring "Daddy Long Legs." [unclear]

Saturday the [illegible] of Kenilworth visited Wilmette and gave an entertainment [illegible] Wilmette club in Brown's hall. The program consistd of a play and a demonstration of the [illegible]

Both the Wilmette clubs are planning [illegible] next Saturday [illegible]

The Neighborhood Club will hold a meeting this month. The next meeting on June 3 will be the [unclear] of the afternoon meetings which are held during the summer months.

Comanche meets next Thursday at the home of Mrs. George Dietrich 723 [unclear] Washington avenue.

The Cozy Corner circle meets today at the Congregational Church.

The Young Woman's auxiliary to the Woman's Club will give their annual luncheon Monday, May 11 at one o'clock at the club house.

The Ladies' and Men's Whist clubs met Monday, April 20, the ladies at the home of Mrs. Namon [unclear] on Elmwood avenue, the meeting at Mrs. Skinner's being postponed, and the men with Mr. R. W. Jordan. Monday evening of this week the ladies met at the home of Mrs. M. H. Skinner while the men were entertained at the home of Mr. Arthur Southworth.

The H. and W. Club met Tuesday at the homeof Mr. and Mrs. W. H. Thayer, 619 Washington avenue, instead of meeting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. [unclear] who have recently returned from a trip to Minnesota.
On Saturday, May 9, the Country club wil hold a progressive [unclear] party at [unclear]

Mrs. Lyman Drake will entertain the reading circle next Tuesday afternoon. Italy is the subject which is being studied at present.

Mrs. E. H. Wheelock will entertain the Travel Club Tueday afternoon May 12, and will read a paper on the northeast provinces [portions?] of Spain. TH eclub will study for next year the countries of Portugal and Switzerland.

The French class met Monday with Mrs. H. J. Smith, 806 Oakwood avenue.

The first meeting of the new board of directors of the Woman's Club was held at the club house Tuesday morning.

The regular monthly meeteing of the first division of the Methodist church will be held next Monday at the home of Mrs. C. G. Smith, 1325 Greenwood avenue.

The Baptist Woman's Mission and Aid Society will serve their monthly luncheon next Monday in Brown's Hall. The charge will be twenty five cents. The Rev. B. Frang Taber will speak on "A Century of [unclear]" at the meeting in the afternoon.
