Notes
Members of Chai Center Chabad of Wilmette assembled a giant menorah on Sunday morning using 600 cans of food collected for donation as part of a pre-Hanukkah event called "Yes We Can." This year the terror attacks in Mumbai were the impulse to teach children about the symbolism of the holiday and the importance of bringing light into the world through good acts. Comments by Rabbi David Flinkenstein.
