- Joseph Sears School families are invited to come to the annual Family Science Night beginning at 6:30 p.m. tonight (Jan. 22) in Nygaard Auditorium. This year's presenter will be "Weird Science," with science teacher Lee Marek, from 6:30-7:15 p.m.
• Grade-level preliminaries for the district spelling bee began this week, culminating in the school spelling bee final to be held at 7 p.m. Jan. 29, in Nygaard Auditorium.
• Some upcoming dates are:
Jan. 22 -- Sixth-grade spelling bee, 12:05 p.m.
Jan. 22 -- Family Science Night, 6:30-8 p.m.
Jan. 23 -- Seventh-grade spelling bee, 12:05 p.m.
Jan. 23 -- Basketball pictures/return uniforms -- girls HC, 3:30 p.m.
Jan. 23 -- Basketball pictures/return uniforms -- boys HC, 4:15 p.m.
Jan. 23 -- Basketball pictures only -- boys and girls competitive, 4:15
p.m. Jan. 27 -- Eighth grade spelling bee, 12:05 p.m.
Jan. 30 -- Basketball uniform return -- boys and girls competitive, 3:30 p.m.
