- The Glitter Ball, the North Shore Board of the Northwestern University Settlement House annual benefit gala and auction, was held Nov. 1 at the Four Season Hotel in Chicago. More than 400 guests attended, raising more than $300,000. Proceeds will allow inner city children from West Town and Humbolt Park to attend the "House-In-The-Wood" summer camp in Wisconsin for one or two-week stays.
