- Word has been received here of the death December 29 at Winston-Salem, N.C. of Howard Evans Nutt, son of Dr. John Evans Nutt, one of the early settlers of Glencoe. He was the last surviving child of Dr. Nutt. Born in Chicago on May 24, 1867. His mother, Mrs. Annie Evans Nutt was the sister of John Evans, one of the founders of Evanston. Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Odin B. Dodd of Tucson, Ariz., and a son, David Evans Nutt of Seattle, Wash.
