- The Wilmette Village board took action by resolution this week to stop the threatened conversion of the golf course skirting the Sanitary district channel to use as residential property. Paul J. Healy of the Sanitary District of CHicago advised Board PResident Harry C. Kinne that the real estate department of the Sanitary district received an application to purchase the real estate along both sides of the North Shore channel from Green Bay Road to the Wilmette harbor.
