- The wedding of Eleanor Spencer, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Harry J. Spencer of Charlotte, N.C. and Sidney Butz, son of Mr. and Mrs. Emil C. Butz of Wilmette, took place November 19, at the home of the bride's parents. Mrs. Nelson Jones of Atlanta, Ga., sister of the bride, was matron of honor, and Ford Stoddard of Detroit served as best man. They will make their home in Charlotte. Out-of-town guests at the wedding were Mrs. Emil C. Butz, Miss Mary Stoddard, and Jack Holley, of Wilmette, Mr. amd Mrs. Beresford Beck of Evanston, Ford Stoddard of Detroit, and Karl Kemps of Elizabeth, N.J.
