- Herbert John Savage, 83, of Wilmette, died Dec. 28 at his home, 510 Lake Av. Born on the Isle of Jersey, England. He is survived by his widow, Martha; two sons. Herbert P. of Wilmette and John E. of Chicago; a daughter, Mrs. Doris Burke of Palo Alto, Cal., eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild. Burial in Evergreen Cemetery in Evergreen Park.
