- New Trier High School will present "Commedia!" at 7:30 p.m. today and 4:30 p.m. tomorrow in the McGee Theater on the Winnetka Campus.
New Trier hosted the Regional Science Olympiad Competition on Feb. 28 at the Northfield campus. New Trier's Varsity Team won medals in all 23 events and received a first place bid position for the state meet April 10 at the University of Illinois. Loyola Academy also advanced to the state meet.
The Varsity Team members: Anthony Alvarez-Gerritsen, Erisa Apantaku, Dennis Lazar, Tom Schulz, Ira Slomski-Pritz, Julia Steinberg, Ben Vishny, Max Kanter, Andrew Miller, Danny Park, Junjie Shangguan, Alana Peters and Jeff SubbaRao.
New Trier's Junior Varsity teams took the first and second positions. JVA competitors were: Lorna Cohen, Eli Gold, Lani Leong, Arsalan Aslam, David Creamer, Chris McAlester, Chloe Director, Eleanor Hyun, Yasheen Jadidi, Evelyn No, Nikita Saladi, Michael Salceda, Elaine Shen, Christina Tsai and Jeremy Zhang.
JVB competitors were: Katrina Keleher, Neha Pirwani, Danny Salzman, Maitreyi Sistla, Lauren Swierk, Emma Weitzel, Sadaf Bhai, Kelly Cole, Jesse Gamoran, Yalda Shadravan, Shirlene Wang, Charlie Gao, Ben Lurie, Adam Cohen, and Parth Khatri.
New Trier's Science Olympiad coaches are: Jan Leonhardt, Shayda Crosby, Bruce Credo, Tony Harper, and David Jabon.
