- Eldon Howlett Moot, son of Mr. and Mrs. Edwin H. Moot of 106 Tenth Street, Wilmette, was killed Monday in an automobile accident near his home at Tiburon, California. He was 49 years old. In addition to his parents, he is survived by his wife, Mildred, by his daughter, Mrs. Barbara Thacher of North Chicago, and by two grandchildren. There is a sister, Mrs. Robert Peterson of Wilmette, and two brothers, Howard, of Wayne, Pa., formerly of Wilmette, and Edwin, Jr., in the diplomatic service stationed at Palermo, Italy.
