- The school's centennial party and reunion will feature an open house from 3-5 p.m., and a special Mass by Cardinal George from 5-6 p.m., followed by a dinner party for adults ages 18 and older June 12 at 808 Linden Ave., Wilmette.
The school's Centennial Speaker Series will present paleontologist Paul Sereno at 7 p.m. May 4 at Regina Dominican High School auditorium. The lecture, titled "Hunting Dinosaurs and SuperCrocs in the Sahara," is open to the public.
Tickets are now on sale for "The Wizard of Oz," to be presented by the school's Class of 2010 at 7 p.m. April 29 and April 30 in the St. Francis Xavier School gymnasium, 808 Linden Ave., Wilmette. Eighth-grade student Mikaela Kropp will star as Dorothy. The eighth grade will welcome Lane Ehlman, a seventh-grade student who will play the role of the Wicked Witch of the West.
Moms & Tots will meet from 9-11 a.m. Friday in the Xavier Room at St. Francis Xavier School, 808 Linden Ave.
The Barnes & Noble Spring Book Fair is coming Wednesday to Old Orchard Shopping Center.
Registration for the 2010-11 school year is under way.
