- Victor Walker with his brothers Everett and Dick opened the Chicago area's first Original pancake House at 153 Green Bay Road in 1960. Comments by Victor's son, Ray Walker, who still works at the business. Human resources director, Kevin Donoghue, explains that the exact date of the opening has been lost.
