- Anton J. Schneider, a 62 year resident of Wilmette, died June 30 in Lehigh Acres, Fla. He was 65. Mr. Schneider is survived by his widow, Anna T.; three sons, James, of Wilmette, Ronald, of Barrington, and Robert, of Chicago; and two daughters, Mrs. Lucille Holm of Glenview, and Mrs. Janet Kloepfer of Northbrook. Other survivors include six brothers, Joseph of Prospect Heights, Paul of Wilmette, Bernard of Wilmette, Martin of Wilmette, Henry of Arlington Heights, and George of Northbrook; three sisters, Mrs. Margaret Schoenbeck of Wilmette, Mrs. Dorothy Peters, of Wilmette, and Mrs. Mary Hansen of Skokie; and 13 grandchildren. A funeral mass was said July 3 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Wilmette by the Rt. Rev. Charles Meter, with burial at Memorial Park Cemetery, Skokie.
