A daughter was born to Mr. and Mrs. Nic. Spies.
A son was born to Mr. and Mrs. Peter Meier last week.
Mrs. Henry Toutsch fell off a wagon and broke his arm last week.
Mr. George Neuhausen's horse was killed by lightning last Sunday night.
Mr. and Mrs. Phillip Klinge of Chicago visited Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Klinge last week.
Mr. E. Meyer & Son have begun work on the new Presbyterian church in Wilmette.
Mr. Joseph Schaefgen, who was laid up with a bad knee for thirteen weeks, began work again Tuesday.
Master Peter Huerter was surprised last week by fourteen of his friends in honor of his 16th birthday.
The Gross Point Juniors beat the Riverside team last Sunday, 14 to 1. They will play the Glencoe team next Sunday.
John J. Schmitz, J. W. Golback and Andrew Lener returned last Saturday from a four days' stay at Paw-Paw Lake, Mich.
Ferdinand Reimer, who was employed by the Mark Mfg. Co. for nearly twelve years is now working for C. A. Thorsen.
Mrs. John Bleser and Misses Mary and Anna Bleser attended the funeral of Miss Luth of Chicago at Montrose cemetery last Sunday.
Mr. Frederick Kulnert, known better as simply "Fritz," and who formerly worked for Mr. Degroot, died at the Cook county infirmary last week.
