- Outcome of the match play at the Skokie Country club Saturday are as follows: H. A. Fleager beat Woodworth Sibley 1 up on nineteen holes for the president's cup; G. J. Pope won by default from Percival Manchester who will play Fleager next Saturday; Gordon Copeland won over S. A. Wilmarth, 6 and 4. The second round in the directors' cup resulted as follows: F. E. Compton defeated Charles Edgar, 2 and 1; Grant Ridgeway defeated C. E. Towne, 4 and 2; D. C. Lloyd defeated A. F. Towne, 2 and 1; G. J. Miller defeated R. H. Harrison, 2 and 1. The results in the M. B. Orde cup were as follows: F. C. Thomas defeated J. E. Bradstreet, 1 np., 19 holes; Edwin Sherman defeated J. H. Prentiss, 5 and 4; F. W. Hill defeated Frank Sherman, 3 and 3; Frank J. King defeated Dr. F. P. Patton, 3 and 2. In the eighteen holes of medal play for the J. L. Lane trophy, R. H. Harrison led the field with a score of 88 - 18 - 70. A. Washington was second best, 37 - 15 - 72.
