- Pastor Russell delivered a discourse at the London Tabernacle on Aug. 4. Lake Shore News is reporting one of his discourses from the text, "Not Of My Works". The pastor said that God specially rewards faith rather than good works. During the Messiah's reign, righteousness and obedience will be rewarded. However, now, the Church is being judged by her faith. A sinner becomes at New Creature through faith. God has been working on the New Creation for over eighteen centuries.
