- A.P. Graham, Wilmette's motorcycle policeman, was unable to catch a speeding motorist. The license belongs to John Bjorkman, 5517 Augusta Street, Chicago. The Chicago police have issued a warrant for his arrest.
Other arrests for speeding include Joy Morton II of Lake Forest and P.H. Wrigley, chewing gum magnate.
