- Wendell Stanton Brooks of Carleton College, Northfield, Minn., has been named assistant dean of the college of liberal arts at Northwestern University. Brooks succeeds Assistant Dean Palmer. Brooks was born at Bay Shore, Long Island, N.Y., 24 July 1886, and was married to Margaret Amy MacKenzie, 20 August 1913.
