Leonard Peterson, 77 years of age, died Tuesday, January 4, at the Evanston Hospital of heart ailment after a short illness. Mr. peterson was president of Leonard Peterson and Company, established in 1892, manufacturers of laboratory and library furniture. He was a pioneer and leader in his line. He was born near Upsala, Sweden, and came to Chicago in 1881. He resided at 687 LIncoln avenue, Winnetka, at the time of his death, where he had made his home for many years. He was a member of the Univarian Laymen's league. He is survived by his widow, Florence, and by two sisters and two brothers in Sweden. Funeral services were to be conducted by Dr. Van Ogden Goet at the Scott chapel in Wilmette at 2 o'clock on Thursday afternoon.
