McGuire, Mrs. Fred J. (Died)

Funeral services were held Thursday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock in the Wilmette Parish Methodist Episcopal church for Mrs. J. Fred McGuire, 565 Sheridan road, Winnetka, who died last Monday at DeLand, Fla., after a brief illness. Mrs. McGuire is survived by her husband, J. Fred McGuire, a partner in the real estate firm of McGuire and Orr; a daughter, Mrs. Florence M. Herlocker, of Kenilworth; a son, Walter J. McGuire, of Glencoe, and three grandchildren.

For more than thirty years Mrs. McGuire had been a resident of the north shore. She was born in Lindsay, Ontario, and lived for a number of years in Cleveland before coming to Chicago in 1887. She was married to Mr. McGuire in 1888.

Dr. Horace G. Smith, pastor of the Wilmette Methodist church, of which Mrs. McGuire was a member, officiated at the funeral services. Burial took place at Memorial Park cemetery.
