Charles Chase Prescott, 1019 Linden avenue, Wilmette, and a resident of the village for more than 25 years, passed away at his home on Saturday at the age of 67. He had been in ill health for some months. Mr. Prescott, who was a cotton broker, with offices in the Merchandise mart, Chicago, had lost both of his sons, John and Chase, by death, within the space of a few months. His only surviving child, a daughter, Helen, is a senior at New Trier High school. Funeral services were held on Monday afternoon at the Scott chapel, Wilmette, with interment at Graceland cemetery.
