Clary, Virgil (Died)

Virgil Clary, 73, of 702 Greenleaf Av., Wilmette, died Saturday in St. Francis Hospital in Evanston.
He retired in 1958 after working 20 years as an investigator in the estate tax division fo the Internal Revenue Department.
Born in North Hampton, Ia., Mr. Clary lived in Chicago before moving to Wilmette in 1942. He was a 1916 graduate of the University of Minnesota Law School and a member of the Chicago and American Bar associations, Sigma Alpha Epsilon fraternity, and St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church in Wilmette.
Survivors include his widow, Marian B.; two sons, Virgil V., 338 Wagner Rd., and Kevin, 204 Latrobe Av., both of Northfield; three sisters, Mrs. O. W. Krees of Scottsdale, Ariz., Mrs. Edward Warren of Indianapolis, and Miss Vivian Clary of La Grange; a brother, Martin, of La Grange; and four grandchildren.
Services were conducted Tuesday at St. Francis Xavier Church by the Rev. Edmund J. Moroney. Burial was in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
