Van Horne, Jan Frederick and Smith, Katherine Bowman (Married)

Miss Katherine Bowman Smith of Greenwich, Conn., became the bride of Jan Frederick Van Horne of Winnetka Sept. 3 [1966] in Christ Church in Greenwich, Conn.
The Rev. Edward T. Adkins performed the ceremony which was followed by a reception in the Greenwich Country Club.
The couple's parents are Dr. and Mrs. George Cline Smith of Greenwich and Mr. and Mrs. A. Frederick Van Horne of Winnetka.
The bride wore a silk organza gown detailed with lace and pearls. A garland of organza flowers held her illusion veil. She carried a bouquet of Phalaenopsis orchids, Stephanotis and Ivy.
Miss Kristin Van Horne of Winnetka, sister of the bridegroom, was among the attendants.
Roger Kurz of Winnetka acted as best man. Among the ushers were Douglas Van Horne, brother of the bridegroom, Stephen Warhover, and Stanley Woleben, all of Winnetka.
