Thomas Slater Gillett, who resided for many years in his home on the corner of Ninth street and Lake avenue, Wilmette, passed away in the Baptist Old People's home in Maywood, last Friday, August 4. Mr. Gillett, 91 years old, moved to the home two years ago, following the death of his wife, Katherine. He was born in Sugar Grove, Illinois in 1848, the son of William T. Gillett. Mr. Gillett's one child, a son, Fred, died in 1930. Funeral services were held at Memorial Park on Saturday.
