- John L. Yonkers Sr., a resident of Northbrook, died Dec. 15 in Glenview. He was 81. A native of Elmhurst, he is survived by his wife, Virginia, his son, John Yonkers Jr.; his daughter, Gigi Fielder; his grandchildren, Christeen and Meghan Yonkers and J.T., Ashley Anne and Kathryn Elizabeth Fielder; his sister, Natalie Lingeman, and his brothers, Edward and William Yonkers.
