- Mary McCarthy Young, 87, died July 19 in Evanston Hospital. The wife of the late Edward Young, who died in 1949, she is survived by two daughters, Margaret Young Dwyer of Coral Gables, Florida, and Patricia Young of Chicago; five grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; and a sister, Margaret McCarthy of Toledo.
