- Karin Nyborg Steffens, 64, died Nov. 20 at her Wilmette home. Mrs. Steffens was a native of Evanston. Mrs. Steffens is survived by her husband, Jerry A. Steffens; two daughters, Karla and Kristina (Mrs. Robert Koch); two sons, Jon and Thomas (Cynthia); two grandchildren, Christopher and David Steffens; and a brother, Robert Nyborg of Rough and Ready, Cal. A funeral mass will be said at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph's Church, 1747 Lake St., Wilmette. Interment will be in the family plot at St. Joseph's Cemetery.
