- Joseph J. Steiner of Northfield died Jan. 31 [1981] at Evanston Hospital. Born in Wilmette. He is survived by his wife, Gertrude; his son, Joseph Jr. of Wildwood, Ill.; grandchildren Joseph III and Mary; two nephews, Leo Braun of Buffalo Grove and Leroy Braun of Northbroook; a brother, John, of Wilmette, and a sister, Florence Boettger of West Palm Beach, Fla. Burial was in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
