- Allene E. Shoemaker died March 29 in Woodstock after a long illness. She was 95. Mrs. Shoemaker is survived by a son, Warren W. of Florida; a daughter, Mrs. Gilbert H. Scribner of Northfield; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
