- Raymond J. Schopen died Dec. 22 at Glenbrook Hospital. He was 61. A native of Chicago, Mr. Schopen was a longtime resident of Wilmette. Mr Schopen is survived by his children, Gail Schopen of Des Plaines, Mark Schopen of Van Nuys, Calif., Charles Schopen of Northfield, Keith Schopen of Deerfield and Robin Schopen Geiser of Skokie; his brother, Frank Schopen of Placeville, Calif.; his sister Nancy Schopen of Northfield; and his grandchildrden Shana Nicholson of Des Plaines, Jason, Daniel and Ryan Geiser of Skokie, and Holly Schopen.
