- Truman Richards, 79, died January 21 in Escondido, California. Mr. Richards was born August 19, 1909, in Dorchester, Massachusetts to Benjamin and Margaret Ross Richards. He is survived by two brothers, Winthrop of Winfield, Kansas, and Benjamin of Alturas, California; three sisters, Margaret Heaton of Roswell, New Mexico, Cynthia Orner of Evanston, and Virginia Luke of Lake San Marcos, California, and Door County, Wisconsin; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by a brother, Ross.
