- Mary Allene Myers Rubin, 97, died January 7, 2001. Born December 21, 1903. Survivors include a son, Ned Rubin (Letty) of Amelia Island, Fa.; three grandchildren, Mark Rubin of Palo Alto, California, and Brad and Molly Rubin of Los Altos, California; a sister, Margaret Dixie Highland of Winnetka; two brothers, John Myers of Tiffin, Ohio, and Allen Myers of Madison, Wisconsin, and a nephew, John Highland of Winnetka.
