- Cynthia R. (née Richard) Orner, 88, of Evanston and previously of Kenilworth, died August 15, 2001 in Evanston. Born July 10, 1913 in Dorchester, Mass. Survivors include a son, William Orner of Woodbury, Minn.; and two sisters, Margaret Heaton of Roswell, N.M. and Virginia (John) Luke of Lake San Marcos, California Preceded in death by her husband, Ralph J. Orner.
