- John A. Krier Sr., 60, died May 25 at St. Francis Hospital in Evanston. He was the husband of the late Magdalen Krier. He is survived by two sons, James and John Jr., both of Wilmette, a daughter, Mary Krier of Wilmette, and three sisters, Jane Kennedy of Skokie, Dorothy Ahrendt of Skokie and Laura McDavitt of Mesa, Ariz. Burial was in All Saints Cemetery in Des Plaines.
