- Paul Thomas Lechner, 76, died August 30, 2001 in his Glenview home. Born December 11, 1924 in Evanston. Survivors include his wife, Lois A.(née Haines) of Glenview; three sons, Richard D. (Carol) of Greybull, Wyo., Stephen P. (Annemarie) of Hampton, Australia and Joseph W. (Diane) of Deerfield; two daughters, Deborah S. (Michael) Stroeckel of Mundelein and Cara L. (Matthew) Dolick of Glenview; and two sisters, Lois (the late Erwin) Heidbrink of Wilmette and Donna (the late Ray) Schultz of Omaha, Neb. Preceded in death by his brothers, Robert (Ruth) and John (Wyn) and his sister, Rita (Roger) Benson.
