- Dorothy J. Howe died Oct. 24 [1988] in Fort Lauderdale, Fla. She was 81, and a native of Danville. She was marrried to the late Glen Crawford, the late Laurence Custard and the late Robert Howe. Mrs. Howe is survived by her daughter, Diane C. Kingwill of Wilmette; her son, James R. Crawford of Puerta Vallarta, Mexico; her grandchildren, John, Patricia, Mark and Michael Crawford and Baird, Stephanie and James Kingwill; and her sister, Frances Miller. Burial was in Rosehill Cemetery in Chicago.
