- Winnetka native Sally Korrady Helwig, 73, died Nov. 15 at a nursing home in Lynchburg, Virginia. Mrs. Helwig was born Sarah Wharton Korrady in 1918, in Winnetka. She is survived by her husband, Russell C. Helwig; a daughter, Katherine Martin Gray of Pamplin, Va.; a son, James K. Martin of Glenview; and five grandchildren.
