- Alexander Maxwell Harroun died Dec. 22 at Evanston Hospital. He was 81. A resident of Wilmette since 1949, Mr. Harroun was born in Chicago. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Adams; his son; Robert Harroun of Northbrook; his daughter, Alice Bruemmer of Glenview; and his grandchildren, Thomas and Susan Harroun. Burial will be at Oak Woods Cemetery in Chicago.
